Web Content Administrator – Web Communications

Job Description:
Serving within the Web Communications Team, this position is responsible for the direction and oversight of all content within each of the Moody ministries websites, including Corporate, Education, Broadcasting, Publishing, and Conferences. We are in a state of transition with several of our websites, improving the effectiveness of our communication to our external audience, which includes more than 2.4 million unique visitors each year from across the globe.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage website content during the development, migration, and maintenance stages of Moody’s websites and intranet portal
  • Review content submissions ensuring consistency in message, theme, and style across all websites
  • Build and maintain web pages, folders, and navigation within our content management system
  • Ensure that the websites remain current by leading regular content reviews in conjunction with branch web liaisons and content managers
  • Provide training to web liaisons and content managers in using our content management systemPerform other special and related duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a website content manager
  • Experience in using a Content Management System with a basic understanding of HTML. Experience using the Ektron Content Management System is a plus
  • Strong project management and friendly customer service skills
  • Excellent written communication skills, with understanding for the unique writing style for the web, with exceptional proofreading, editing, and English grammar skills following the Associated Press stylebook
  • Ability to work creatively, remain flexible, and maintain excellent interpersonal skills in a collaborative and changing environment
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or experience in a related field
