Founders Week 2013 Moody Bible Institute will hold its 112th annual Founder's Week Conference Feb. 4-8, 2013. Speakers including Tony Evans, John MacArthur, Janet Parshall and David Platt, along with students and faculty of Moody will focus on the theme, "Knowing Christ."

Celebrating the Feb. 5 birthday of 19th century evangelist and Moody Bible Institute founder, Dwight Lyman Moody, Founder's Week offers musical worship, uplifting fellowship and inspiring teaching from today's foremost Christian leaders.

"Founder's Week is a very special and important event each year at Moody and we are looking forward to examining the Apostle Paul's words in Philippians 3:8 about the surpassing value of knowing Christ," said Dr. Paul Nyquist, president of Moody. "For those who will join us in person, by radio broadcast or the online stream, it is our prayer that it will be a time of great encouragement." Dr. Nyquist will kick-off the conference Monday, Feb. 4, at 7:15 p.m., at The Moody Church in Chicago, Ill.

Evening sessions (7:15 p.m.) will take place at The Moody Church, while the morning (9:30 a.m.) and afternoon (2:15 p.m.) sessions will take place on the Chicago campus of Moody Bible Institute in Torrey-Gray Auditorium. Special musical guests Shane and Shane, Meredith Andrews, the Butlers and Tim Stafford as well as various musical ensembles from Moody Bible Institute will perform and lead worship throughout the conference.
