On October 24, 2007, Wycliffe Bible Translators honored Moody Bible Institute with a plaque in honor of Moody's "partnership and dedication to the ministry of Bible translation and the Great Commission."  Bob Creson, president of Wycliffe USA, presented the plaque to Dr. Michael Easley. 

Dr. Tim Sisk, Chair and Associate Professor of World Missions and Evangelism, says that Moody partners closely with Wycliffe in the Applied Linguistics major.  "The core of the curriculum is based on Wycliffe's requirements for Bible translators," Sisk says.  "We are grateful for this partnership as we seek to assist in seeing God's word translated into the language of all people."
