This fall, Roy Patterson began hosting a new program for Moody Radio, Celebration of Praise.  The program, heard nationwide via the Moody Broadcasting Network, includes an energetic blend of praise and worship music including urban, Latin, contemporary and traditional genres. 

Patterson, a seven-year veteran of Moody Radio, is a familiar voice to many listeners.  He is also the host of Moody Broadcasting Network's Music for Sunday as well as Urban Praise, heard live on WMBI AM 1110 in Chicago, Ill.  His vision for Celebration of Praise is to encourage unity in the body of Christ through guiding listeners into worship with music from a variety of artists and styles.

Listeners from Chicago to India are thrilled with the opportunity to enjoy a wide spectrum of music.  "What an example that sets for all generations," says Ed, a WMBI listener.  "The songs you play help us to praise God and continue to serve our Lord and Savior no matter what the circumstances," says listener Tammi. 

Patterson weaves Scripture, personal experiences and devotional meditations throughout the program.  "Thanks for your upbeat attitude and your wisdom from God’s Word, along with the beautiful music you play!" says WGNR listener Susan, of Indiana.  "You speak truth from God's word, which encourages and ministers to us," Tammi says.
