Moody Radio has announced that Al Sanders, founder of Ambassador Advertising Agency, will receive the 2013 Robert Neff Award "For Distinguished Spiritual Excellence in Religious Broadcasting." Presented in conjunction with The Christian Law Association, the award is presented annually to an outstanding religious broadcaster.
"Al's vision for ministry, passion for Christ and drive for excellence has put an impressionable mark on Christian radio," said Collin Lambert, vice president of Moody Radio. "Al has contributed to the success of numerous ministry partners over the past 54 years and Moody Radio is grateful to have been partnering with Ambassador all those years."
The Robert Neff Award is named in honor of former Moody Radio vice president of broadcasting Bob Neff. Neff worked at Moody Radio for 40 years before losing a battle with ALS in 2006. The award will be presented at Moody Radio's open house during the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tenn. on Sunday, March 3.
