This year, small changes to Founder’s Week and Moody’s pastors’ conference will make our conferences more relevant for our students and more enticing for our guests.
The speaker lineup for this year’s Founder’s Week reflects familiar favorites as well as new leaders in the church, helping emphasize the conference’s original intent of encouragement for Moody students. Attendees will hear from Alistair Begg, Gary Haugen, Phil Vischer and many more.
The schedule will also reflect opportunities for students to connect more personally with speakers, through roundtable discussions and other events. Founder’s Week this year will be shorter by one day, as the Saturday sessions have been removed from the schedule.
In May, Moody’s conference for pastors and ministry leaders will debut with a new name, re:Focus. This year’s theme is “Test Your Heart, Transform Your Ministry.”
The conference will include several exciting new opportunities, including breakout sessions with many of the main session speakers and sessions during midday meals. More breakout sessions will be offered than ever before. re:Focus will also include directed tracks on topics such as transformational preaching, missions and global ministry, justice and compassion, and culture and worldview.
Conference speakers will include Voddie Baucham, Flip Flippen, John Piper, John Perkins, Henry Blackaby and others.
