Wednesday, March 3, 2010, has been designated as a Day of Prayer at Moody Bible Institute. Employees and students will unite in prayer for corporate, personal and ministry-related concerns. This year’s Day of Prayer will also focus on Moody’s Strategic Planning Process.
“Moody, our nation and our leaders are in desperate need of intercessory prayer,” said Dr. Paul Nyquist, Moody’s President. “This special Day of Prayer provides us with a timely opportunity to come together in concerted, corporate prayer. It is our hope that God will honor this day and will use it to draw us near to Him.”
Classes will be suspended for the day and a variety of opportunities will be provided for employees and students to pray together in classrooms, dormitories and offices. Prayer opportunities for students and staff include opening and closing sessions in Torrey-Gray Auditorium on Moody’s Chicago campus, department prayer for employees across the United States, classroom prayer on all Moody campuses and individual prayer.
