Beginning Saturday, October 6, Janet Parshall will host a new show, Talking it Over with Janet Parshall, on the Moody Broadcasting Network. This two-hour live call-in program will air every Saturday morning from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST and will discuss current issues relevant to Christians across America.

“Talking it Over is designed to encourage listeners to speak the truth to the whole world,” says Parshall. “Our desire is to look at the tough challenges confronting the culture today and examine the answers from a biblical perspective.”

Parshall will address such topics as stem cell research, Islam in America and gambling, among many others. Listeners can join the discussion by calling in to the programs with questions or comments for Parshall or the show's expert guests. 

Parshall says the program will apply the power of the Word to issues the world is wrestling with.  "It has been said that Christians need to go through life with the Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other—oftentimes the headlines of the day afford us a tremendous opportunity to discuss issues that open the door to sharing the Gospel."

The new program dovetails well with Moody Radio's desire to provide strong content to its audience.  “As we move into a more talk-oriented, issues-focused format, Janet brings great depth to Moody Radio,” said Wayne Pederson, Vice President of Moody Broadcasting. “We feel it is important for our listeners to hear the scriptural perspective on these cultural topics.”

In addition, Parshall will continue to host Janet Parshall’s America, airing Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm EST on 245 stations and XM radio.
