Moody Bible Institute has announced the election of Richard E. Warren to its Board of Trustees. Previously, Warren served on the advisory board at Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Mich.
"Rick has proved an invaluable resource to Moody with his experience on the Board of Advisers for our new seminary campus in Mich.," said Jerry Jenkins, chairman of Moody's Board of Trustees. "Rick has been an enthusiastic supporter of all our ministries. He also brings to our board a stellar reputation as a man of prayer, a respected businessman and a humble leader."
Warren is the chairman and owner of Warren Strategies, a marketing research and advisory firm, and the chairman and CEO of Weldaloy Products, a custom manufacturing company, both in Mich. His career includes work for financial services and tax consulting companies and as a real estate developer.
"I am honored and greatly humbled to be a trustee of Moody Bible Institute," said Warren. "My wife, Sara, and I have been involved with Moody for nearly 10 years and have been very moved by how God has used Moody and its alumni in building His Kingdom."
He holds a bachelor's of finance degree from Michigan State University.
Warren lives in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. with his wife, Sara, and their two daughters.
