On November 14, 2007, Midday Connection hosted a live broadcast and book release party for their new cookbook, Come to Our Table.  During the event, over 100 guests enjoyed recipes from the book, prepared by Moody's Food Service and Catering teams. 

Anita Lustrea and Melinda Schmidt hosted a live broadcast of the show, with guests Kendra Smiley and Nancy Kane.  The four discussed the joys and challenges of gathering around the table with family and friends, as well as the significance of the Lord's table in Christian faith and practice.  Listeners also weighed in with favorite mealtime memories and traditions.  

Come to Our Table features recipes from Midday Connection hosts and other Moody Radio staff, along with those submitted by Midday Connection listeners.  Scattered through the cookbook pages, Midday Connection guests such as Smiley, Ellie Kay, Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and Dannah Gresh share stories and encouragement, as well as favorite family meals.
