Chicago, IL (April 2, 2007) — Moody Bible Institute has named Ken Heulitt the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President. Heulitt will oversee all financial aspects of the Institute including the accounting department, treasury, investments and assets, and procurement. He will also sit on the President’s Cabinet.

“Ken’s established career brings the wealth of knowledge and expertise we have been looking for,“ said Dr. Michael J. Easley, President of Moody. “A variety of facets make up the financial structure here at Moody, and Ken is just the type to manage it all.”

Heulitt brings 30-plus years of experience from an extensive career with BP/Amoco. Most recently, he was Treasurer of the BP Chemical spin-off, Innovene. He has also held positions of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer with BP/Amoco units in Korea, Canada and the US.

“I am delighted to be here at Moody and look forward to using what I have learned over the past 30 years to benefit this great institution in its work for Christ,” said Heulitt.

Ken holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Math from Wheaton College. He is also active in his faith through a variety of means including: serving on the Board of Governors for MAP International, serving on the finance committee of Great Europe Mission, sitting on the Board of Directors of the Dalit Freedom Network, and serving on the advisory board of Peter Deyneka Russian Ministries. Ken and his wife Sara live in Hinsdale, IL.
