Chicago, Ill. (July 10, 2009) — On July 6, 2009, Moody Bible Institute was recognized as one of the 2009 Great Colleges to Work For. The program, which is a partnership between The Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink LLC, was created “to recognize Higher Education institutions that have created exceptional work environments.”
Moody received awards in two categories. Competing in the mid-size group (population 3,000 to 9,999) Moody was recognized in the Physical Workspace Conditions category: facilities adequately meet needs and the appearance of the campus is pleasing; as well as the Compensation and Benefits category: pay is fair and benefits meet the needs of employees.
“We are honored to be recognized by such an esteemed program,” said Lloyd Dodson, vice president of Corporate Projects and Human Resources at Moody Bible Institute. “And just as importantly, we are blessed to be affirmed in our efforts to meet the needs of our employees in these areas.”
According to the press release issued by The Chronicle of Higher Education, “The Chronicle’s Great Colleges to Work For® program recognizes small groups of colleges (based on enrollment size) for specific best practices and policies, such as compensation and benefits, faculty administration relations, and confidence in senior leadership.”
