This position is under the supervision of the Division Manager of Distance Learning. It is designed to assist in performing administrative duties throughout the division and to supervise daily office procedures. With the providing of assistance and support services in this position, it facilitates the oversight and management of Distance Learning in the fulfillment of its mission. This part-time position is for 30 hours per week.


Part Time | Northwest

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, maintain local financial records, accounts payable for vendors and campus expenses, petty cash and reimbursement oversight, accounts receivable and inventory control for aviation stockroom, resolving Spokane student account issues, liaison with Moody Bible Institute (MBI)-Chicago on financial matters and generate financial reports as needed.

The individual in this position must carry out his or her responsibilities in a manner that reflects the department’s priority of caring for people, striving for excellence, inspiring innovation and growing in scope and influence, as part of the overall mission of MBI. This position requires bookkeeping experience (accounts payable/receivable), strong interpersonal communication skills, personal initiative and attention to detail. This part-time position is for 24 hours per week.

Working with the Distance Learning Operations Manager, the Customer Service Assistant Level 2 provides operational support and conducts daily administration of operational processes. The Customer Service Assistant Level 2 also performs course production maintenance and improvement as needed. This part-time position is for 30 hours per week.

The Financial Aid Counselor (FAC) assists the Director of Financial Aid in managing the financial aid programs. The FAC performs clerical and technical work, requiring the independent application of a working knowledge of financial aid policies and procedures. Duties include assisting students in the completion of financial aid forms and in the processing of financial aid awards for students. The FAC may exercise coordinative functions or supervision over student assistants.

This full-time, 12-month, live-in position services the emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical needs of one of the Institute’s residence hall communities through mentoring Resident Assistants (RAs), building relationships with students, engaging with and influencing campus culture, and collaborating with other departments. Because of the high degree of student contact and the great potential of influencing campus culture, the RS position is vital to furthering the mission of Moody Bible Institute, Student Services, Student Development, and Residence Life.

Under the general supervision of the Treasury Operations Manager, the Student Health Insurance Coordinator shall be responsible for the effective oversight of the Moody Bible Institute (MBI) Student Insurance Program.

Serve as a Moody Distance Learning (MDL) representative to prospective students interested in Distance Learning degree programs. This position will develop and manage a sales and follow-up strategy to close opportunities with prospective students to meet assigned student application and enrollment goals. The Tele-Counselor will work closely with the Admissions office to assist students through admission requirements. He/she will primarily use sales and motivational skills through phone and email interactions to assist prospective students in becoming enrolled students. This is a 24 hour per week position.

The National Programming Assistant duties involve the programming and production for Moody Radio streaming channels, managing the music library, serves as the liaison with station music directors, and performs other duties directed by the National Program Director. This position is for 20-25 hours per week.


Full Time | Southeast

Under the supervision of the WKES Station Manager, the Operations Director has the primary responsibility for seeing that the programming is ready for use on the air. WKES Radio is located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Under the supervision of the Station Manager, the Promotions Director-Web Content Manager oversees two critical areas of Moody Radio Chicago’s promotional arm. The Promotions element of this position calls for oversight of logistics, planning and implementation of station promotions. The Web element of this position calls for oversight, maintenance and development of the Moody Radio Chicago website in cooperation with the Moody Radio Administrative Web Manager.

Plan, Organize and Implement our station’s promotional activities to build the listening audience of Moody Radio Chicago.

Under the supervision of Moody Radio South Group Manager, the Public Relations Associate will gather, produce and email radio features and news stories to Moody Radio South headquarters in Tuscaloosa for broadcast use. This part-time position is for 12 hours per week.

Under the administrative supervision of the KMBI Station Manager and working directly with the Program Director, the Senior Announcer ensures that assigned duties and specified on-air shifts at KMBI are of a consistently high quality, in harmony with the mission of Moody Broadcasting, and in accordance with Moody Broadcasting policies and the rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission. Located at Spokane, WA.

Faculty
Full Time | Chicago

The Department of Lifetime Fitness & Sports Ministry (LF/SM) at Moody Bible Institute (MBI) seeks a full-time faculty member to teach Sports Ministry & Lifetime Fitness courses and to coach the Men’s Soccer Team. The primary emphasis will be in Sports Ministry along with Soccer. Other duties include advising majors and mentoring students. The Department of Lifetime Fitness & Sports Ministry has four full-time faculty members and 30 sports ministry majors. The Moody Athletics Department hosts five intercollegiate teams, several club teams and is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, Division II. 

Formal review of applications will begin February 1, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled.

The Undergraduate School of the Moody Bible Institute (MBI) exists to provide a Bible-centered education that enables students to know Christ and serve Him through His church in vocational ministry. The goal of the Undergraduate School is to provide an experience that challenges the students to think Christianly and critically and prepares the person for effective service for the cause of Christ around the world. Therefore, MBI seeks to attract and retain faculty who are committed to the focus and mission of the Undergraduate School.

A faculty member in the Undergraduate School is responsible to the chair of the primary instructional department as assigned by the Vice President & Dean of the Undergraduate School and the Dean of the Faculty. Faculty have the primary responsibility to foster learning through both formal and informal involvement in the students’ lives. In addition each member of the faculty has a responsibility to further the work of the primary instructional department, the Undergraduate School, and MBI.

Faculty in the Undergraduate School will be committed to teaching, service, and scholarship. The faculty member is tasked with the on-going implementation, review, and revision of quality instruction in the classroom, which is dependent upon scholarly pursuits appropriate to their disciplines. The Business Process Manager (BPM) is charged with identifying business improvement opportunities in order to raise the level of student service and efficiency. The BPM works with interdepartmental teams to assess risk of process failure, build and direct process and system changes. He/she reviews performance against these objectives, while evaluating the most efficient utilization of the process resources. The BPM will keep abreast of system changes to seek process automation throughout the departments.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Food Service, this position oversees all internal and external catering for MBI. The responsibilities of the position entail the need for excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously. The Catering & Special Events Coordinator is responsible for managing client relationships, efficient operation of catered events, along with ensuring the food and service at all functions are superior in quality.

Under administrative supervision of the Vice President & Dean of Educational Resources, the Director of Accreditation & Assessment is responsible for the coordination, facilitation and management of adherence/compliance in the areas of national, regional accreditation for the programs offered by Moody Bible Institute (MBI) nationwide. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) provides leadership and direction for MBI’s educational institutional research activities, associated with student success, planning, accreditation and institutional effectiveness.

The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for the management and administration of the student Financial Aid office and its functions including, but not limited to: accounting operations, budget preparation, preparation of federal and state reports, maintenance of Federal fund budgetary controls and regulatory compliance, and the delivery of funds and services to students. The director maintains compliance with all federal, state and local regulations governing student aid programs.

Under supervision of a Field Operations Supervisor, this position will increase the opportunities for prospects and donors to become engaged in supporting the ministries of The Moody Bible Institute (MBI). The Field Representative will meet agreed upon goals and objectives resulting in broadening the donor base and financial support from them. This position covers the territory including Washington (excluding greater Spokane), Oregon, and southern Idaho.

Under the direction of the Manager of Programming Support, the Programmer shall be responsible for design and development of applications that support the Enterprise environment.

The Programmer/Analyst is expected to perform analysis, estimating, design, development, testing and production processing. They should be able to utilize web technologies within the Oracle and .NET environments. The Programmer/Analyst needs to complete testing lifecycle (unit test, integration test, system test, user acceptance) coupled with the diagnosis and resolution of system issues identified during testing. And they are needed to provide support (technical and functional), implementation, configuration, development, administration, and/or analysis of Oracle PeopleSoft applications.
